| About Us Who we are: Asians & Friends Denver is a non-profit social and socially conscious group of Asian and non-Asian people. We build lifelong friendships, encouraging a family-like atmosphere at all our gatherings. We welcome people of all races, cultures and backgrounds with the common thread of support, honest fun, friendships and multicultural appreciation. We have just over 60 members and over 220 members and guests on our roster. What we do: We are a celebration of Asian culture, food and friendship by serving as a social-support organization for GLBT Asians and friends. Our monthly potlucks draw about 35-60 members and guests; our other events draw around a dozen people. Members and guests meet one or more per month for activities which have included: ![]() Why we are here:: Our objective is to foster a sense of community in a family-like environment to inspire, empower and build bridges of cross-cultural understanding while enriching the lives of our members and Multicultural and GLBT communities. Asians & Friends endeavor is to create a safe environment for gay men and lesbian women who are looking for an alternative social outlet to the scene. Our primary goal is to provide a space where people can socialize, share common interests, build bridges between different cultures and have fun. We encourage everyone to make safe, informed, healthy and responsible decisions and treat others with sincerity, honesty, respect and dignity. Asians and Friends Denver endeavors to create a safe environment for our members, friends and guests where everyone can meet in friendship, respect, build bridges between cultures and have fun.
